What it is
Luxury vinyl planks and tiles have a printed wood or stone layer under a tough, clear wear layer. They come as long planks or as tiles, and can be laid straight, staggered or in a herringbone.
Herringbone

Herringbone takes more planning and more cutting than a straight lay, and it shows every flaw in the base, so preparation matters even more. It's worth it in an entrance, a lounge or a showroom.

Questions
Vinyl or tiles for a South African home?
In many African climates vinyl does better than ceramic tiles. It's more comfortable underfoot, copes with changes in temperature, and is easier and faster to clean.
Can it go in a kitchen or bathroom?
Many vinyl planks suit kitchens. Sheet vinyl with welded seams is the usual choice for bathrooms and other very wet areas.
Can it go over my existing tiles?
It depends on the product, and on how flat and firmly fixed the tiles are. Send us photos with your quote request.
Can I see it first?
Yes. Come to our showroom at Ruimsig Shopping Centre.
