Three kinds of vinyl floor, plus the preparation underneath and the repairs that keep a floor going. Each one suits some rooms better than others.
Sheet vinyl
2 mm · heat-welded seams · coved edgesRolls glued down with the joins welded, so the floor is sealed and easy to clean.
Vinyl planks and herringbone
Wood and stone looksTimber or stone looks with the practicality of vinyl, laid straight or in a herringbone.
Interlocking tiles
6 mm · laid loose · no glueHeavy-duty tiles that lock together, often over the existing floor.
Floor preparation
Screeding · self-levellingScreeding and self-levelling, so the new floor has a flat base.
Repairs and stairs
