Heavy-duty tiles that lock together, no glue.
Thick vinyl tiles that join like a jigsaw and can lie on top of the old floor. Built for trolleys, pallet trucks and forklifts.

- Best for
- Shops, supermarkets, warehouses, home gyms and garages
- Thickness
- 6 mm (Gerflor GTI Max neoConnect)
- How it's laid
- Loose, no glue, often over the existing floor
- If one is damaged
- Lift it and lock in a new tile
What it is
Each tile has dovetail edges that lock into its neighbours. The tiles are heavy enough to stay put under their own weight, so there's no adhesive to spread and nothing to wait for. Where a floor is sound and reasonably flat, they can go straight over it.

Why businesses choose it
- Back in use sooner: no glue and no curing time
- Often laid over the floor you already have
- A damaged tile can be lifted and replaced on its own
- Quieter than ceramic tile: Gerflor quotes 8 dB less rolling noise
- Colours that can mark out walkways, work zones and safety areas
We've laid it in a home gym too, replacing concrete tiles.
The tile we feature
Gerflor GTI Max neoConnect
6 mm · 2 mm wear layer · dovetail edgesGerflor designs GTI Max neoConnect for heavy traffic, including pallet trucks and forklifts, with R10 slip resistance. It says a two-person team can lay up to 300 m² in eight hours, and that the tiles cut rolling noise by 8 dB compared with ceramic tile. Gerflor's brochure shows 26 colours.
For wet and hygiene areas, Gerflor makes a straight-edged version that can be heat-welded. Ask us about it.
Figures are Gerflor's own. Gerflor's GTI Max neoConnect catalogue is on our Floors page.
